ATLANTA, January 6, 2011 – QuantiSense today announced that it will feature the latest release of its retail analytics and business intelligence software at NRF 2011 next week, Jan. 10-11 in New York City (booth #2265). Additionally, QuantiSense customer NEXCOM (Navy Exchange Service Command), a $2.5B worldwide chain of nearly 300 stores, will lead a “Big !deas” thought leadership session at NRF at 4:45 p.m. on Monday, January 10 in room 3D09. In the session, NEXCOM will discuss how it is increasing sales by harnessing complex data and transforming it into actionable insights.
For the first time ever at NRF 2011, QuantiSense will demonstrate the newly packaged QuantiSense 5.0 Software Suite, which includes the new QuantiSense Store Ops and QuantiSense Direct applications, as well as QuantiSense Merchandising, the company's flagship software offering.
QuantiSense Store Ops
The QuantiSense store operations analytics offering provides valuable insight for managers at the store, district and corporate level regarding store conversion, average sale price, employee productivity and performance, store comparison, and more. QuantiSense Store Ops can also help retailers take control of their labor costs by analyzing labor and traffic data to optimize customer satisfaction and labor productivity. QuantiSense Store Ops includes the signature QuantiSense Playbooks™ designed specifically for store operations, including Plays for store visits, managing sales contests, identifying busy and slow customer patterns at specific locations and more. Since retail field users are on the go, QuantiSense Store Ops also features reporting and alerting via a range of mobile devices.
“Our new Store Ops solution is a culmination of our team’s collective decades of retail industry experience, hundreds of store and client visits and our unparalleled expertise in retail analytics,” said Jeff Buck, CEO, QuantiSense. “With the new packaging of our software suite including QuantiSense Merchandising 5.0, QuantiSense Direct and QuantiSense Store Ops, we are significantly expanding our footprint and will continue working with our best-in-class retail customers to develop valuable new products and features.”
QuantiSense Direct
For multichannel retailers that wish to extend their QuantiSense implementations into their e-commerce and catalog business, QuantiSense Direct offers a set of analytics specific to the direct-to-consumer order management cycle to examine demand, shipped sales, returns and more. Additionally, QuantiSense Direct can enhance customer service in direct channels by allowing detailed analysis of back-orders and cancellations to better understand customer satisfaction and to reduce future cancellations and returns.
By empowering merchants with a comprehensive cross-channel analytic view to understand what customers are buying and where they want to buy it, QuantiSense Direct helps retailers more effectively allocate merchandise throughout their supply chain across all channels and maximize their inventory investment.
“QuantiSense Playbooks have completely changed the way we analyze and improve our daily decision-making,” said Dennis Hernreich, CFO and COO, Casual Male Retail Group. “With QuantiSense Direct, we can now extend Playbooks even further into an important and growing part of Casual Male—our e-commerce and catalog business.”
QuantiSense Merchandising
QuantiSense Merchandising, the company’s flagship software offering, provides best-of-breed retail analytics, exception reporting and role-based executive dashboards for planners, buyers, allocators and management in order to present data in a way that is most relevant and actionable for each role in the merchandising department. With version 5.0, QuantiSense has enhanced the signature QuantiSense Playbooks, which guide merchants to the precise actions to capitalize on key opportunities and solve potential problems even before they happen. Additionally, 5.0 features iPad-compatible dashboards and improved reporting. Other additions and enhancements include:
- Enhanced Market Basket analysis
- Expanded role-based executive dashboards for desktop and mobile users
