QuantiSense Expands Leading Retail Analytics Solution
Version 6 Combines BI and Best Practices to Enable Decision Orchestration
ATLANTA – January 16, 2012 – QuantiSense, the leading provider of retail analytics and decision orchestration solutions, today unveiled Version 6 of its flagship solution, the QuantiSense Decision Orchestration Platform™ at the retail industry’s largest annual conference, NRF 2012, held in the Javits Convention Center in New York City.
By providing the first retail analytics solution that combines business intelligence, a robust exception engine and embedded industry best practices, QuantiSense has elevated retail BI to a whole new level. Reaching beyond traditional BI systems that simply report data, QuantiSense provides a comprehensive platform that helps orchestrate more profitable merchandising and store operations decisions.
For instance, a key module in Version 6, Q Store Ops incorporates a combination of store-specific sales and inventory data as well as unique Q Tag™ exceptions generated by the QuantiSense Retail Exception Engine™. With this combined data, operations personnel can see store-specific merchandising needs with more clarity than ever. The results include more efficient localized assortments and identification of new cross sell and up sell opportunities.
Casual Male Retail Group COO and CFO, Dennis Hernreich, will explain how CMRG has used the QuantiSense solution during a NRF session entitled “Tackling Local Assortment and Radical Business Change with Retail Analytics” on January 17 at 1:45 p.m. QuantiSense will also demonstrate the latest capabilities of its Decision Orchestration Platform at booth #765. The Decision Orchestration Platform combines business intelligence, a powerful Retail Exception Engine and sophisticated retail analytics into role-based, actionable and repeatable processes that tackle a retailer’s biggest challenges. The suite includes solutions for merchandising, store operations and direct-to-consumer retailing that are delivered on a desktop, via a web browser or as an iPad, iPhone or iPod touch app.
“Our customers are continually asking to extend retail analytics across more aspects of their enterprise,” said Jeff Buck, CEO, QuantiSense. “That’s why Version 6 provides even more actionable analytics for a wider group of merchandising and store operations personnel.” New functionality includes enhanced Plays, re-architected Playbooks, smart filtering, dynamic timeframes, improved Demand Prediction and more.
Unlike spreadsheets or traditional BI systems, the QuantiSense Decision Orchestration Platform™ provides executive dashboards and personalized Retail Scorebooks™ designed to deliver intuitive business graphics – via desktop or mobile access – that empower users to quickly identify trends and highlight problems, accelerating the decision making process. Then Retail Playbooks™ ensure consistent use of best practices for team members ranging from merchandising executives, buyers, allocators and planners to store operations. QuantiSense utilizes a proven methodology and toolset that allows retailers to begin realizing value in as little as 60 days.
