The 2nd annual CIO of the Year Awards, designed to recognize outstanding leaders who have helped drive their organizations to new levels of differentiation and performance, were presented at the RIS News Retail Executive Summit in San Diego last week. The awards honor retail CIOs who have helped guide their organizations through a time of intense competition and dramatic transformation.
Jack McKinney was honored for his “Strategic Impact” at Casual Male Retail Group(CMRG), the largest specialty retailer of big and tall men's apparel in the US. This award is presented to the CIO that implemented a project that is advancing their company in a new direction, market, or channel.

A panel of industry judges as well as the senior RIS editorial team made the final selection.
